HomeGrade is built on public registers. The only personal data we hold is what you type into a form.
Everything shown about a property comes from public registers — the Energy Performance of Buildings Register, HM Land Registry price paid data, and ONS postcode data. We do not add anything about the people who live there, and we never link a home to an occupant.
Only what you type. A quote request stores your name, email, phone if you give one, and the measures and timeframe you chose. A Grade alert stores your email address and the home you asked us to watch. There are no accounts and no passwords.
A quote request is shared with up to three certified installers, together with the home's energy profile from its certificate. Nobody else receives it. Alert subscriptions are never shared or sold.
The EPC register's licence forbids using its address data for unsolicited marketing, and we do not. We contact you only about a request you made or an alert you asked for, and every email can be stopped from the link inside it.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will act within one month. The magic link in your email is the key to your own request; treat it as private.
